Arrival Notices

Suez Canal Authority Requires Five Days Arrival Notice of Vessel’s ETA for Transit.

ETA, Name, Nationality, Call Sign, any Ex Name.
Suez Canal GRT & NRT.
Date of last Transit.
DWT & Draft.
Suez Canal ID, Beam, LOA.
Any Special Requirements (Crew change, Cash, repairs, etc.).

Arrival Registration

Arrival RegistrationTo avoid missing convoys and/or delays, Master, on arrival should immediately contact the pilot by VHF.

CHANNELS 12 & 16: AT PORT SAID.
CHANNELS 14 & 16: SUEZ.

Captain has to contact the agent on arrival to Port Said port limits in order to follow the vessel's arrival and assist the Master when necessary.

First Convoy N1

Vessels Included	3rd/4th Gen Container Vessels, VLCC (Ballast), Draft > 42ft, LPG/LNG, Navy Ships, Loaded Tankers, Heavy Bulk Carriers.

Second Convoy N2

Timing	Commences 07:00 hrs up to 09:00 hrs
Limit Time	Arrival at anchorage: 03:00 hrs
Surcharges	03:00 – 04:00: 3% of Canal Dues 04:00 – 05:00: 5% of Canal Dues
Transit Time	14 – 16 hours (Fast in Ballah Branch)
Not Allowed	Ballast vessels > 90k SCGRT, Navy Ships, Loaded Tankers (Grade A), Beam > 145ft, Draft > 42ft, LPG/LNG, Dangerous Cargo.

Northbound Convoy (From Suez to Port Said)

Only one Northbound Convoy Consists of Two Groups.

Timing: Commences at 06:00 hrs up to 11:30 hrs
Transit Time: 12 – 14 hours. Vessels make free run from Port Said to Suez.

Group A & Group B
